3Macau’s Mobile Data Support Services

Now 3Macau has set up a security supports to all 3G mobile customers while using their mobile data service.

  1. How To Activate or Terminate Mobile Data Service。
    1. Call Customer Service Hotline 1118 for supporting, or
    2. Directly go to the Customer Service Centre at 8/F, Zhu Kuan Building, Av. Xian Xing Hai, Macau, Mon - Fri 10:00am - 07:00pm, Sat 10:00am – 05:00pm, Sun and Public Holidays closed

  2. Security Set up For Charging Amounts on Mobile Data Service 。

    The maximum charges of 3G local mobile data service won’t be exceed to the fees of MOP$500. (Not applicable to all data charges during the roaming period in other countries.)


  3. Remote Control Supports By Disable or Enable Its Function During The Roaming Period In Other Countries.

    Through the setting on the individual mobile phone, customer can be activated or terminated the data or roaming service automatically which can be avoid any extra charges on the data roaming service:

    1. Termination: Dial #86# (Confirmation SMS alert will be sent to inform the customers about their international roaming service is terminated.)
    2. Activation: Dial *86# (Confirmation SMS alert will be sent to inform the customers about their international roaming service is activated.)

  4. SMS Alert Functions For Roaming Data Charging.

    Once the customer’s 3G mobile roaming data charges exceed amount to MOP$500, MOP$2,000,MOP$5,000, the automatic SMS alert system will send the notification to the relevant mobile accounts for such fees.


  5. Mobile Phone Features Set Up On Data & Roaming Services (Depends on the models of mobile-phone.)

    Customers can set up the functions of data and roaming service by switching on/off key mode on specific models of mobile phone, For example: the features of iPhone can be found such its functions to switching the data and roaming services On and Off. As for other specific mobile phones, customers may need to enquiry to the specific mobile phone manufactures for the details of setting upon the services.


  6. The 3 Services must not be used to download, send or upload data of an excessive volume, quantity or frequency or in any manner which adversely affects or may adversely affect 3Macau’s network or service performance or which unreasonably hampers or may hamper other subscribers or users of the 3Services.
